Wood Framed Projects

The BC Building Code was revised on April 6th, 2009 to allow for up to six stories of wood frame construction for residential buildings.

Siefken Engineering Ltd. has the distinction of being the first structural engineering firm in B. C. to design a commercial/residential complex built under this revision.  Library Square, built in Kamloops, BC (shown below) was designed with underground parking,  main floor commercial/retail space and five floors of residential condominiums.
